Get to Know Melanie Smith

 Hi Friends,

Thank you for stopping by today to meet me. My name is Melanie Smith and I have been a demonstrator for approximately 10 years. I am happily married to the love of my life, Randy Smith, and we live in a small town just north of Atlanta.

This is just a quick selfie taken while we were getting over COVID-19, Our daughter brought us dinner and we had a "at home" dinner date together... Guess who is planning on being Santa this year...

This little guy above is our very first grandchild... Elijah James, He has been the light of ours lives recently.

How I began my Stampin' Up! Journey, and why I love it so much.

Every demonstrator has a story and I would love to share mine with you. I have been 100% crafty my entire life. At the time I was introduced to paper arts I actually made my own glass beads (Lampworking) and designed jewelry with those beads. I met a friend who invited me to her house to make cards. She was not even a demonstrator but after her showing me why she loved Stampin' Up! I ran right home and searched online for a demonstrator to sign up under. I lived in Chattanooga Tennessee at the time and I remained a "Happy Shopper" for about 5 years.

Being a "Happy Shopper" is when you sign up just to get all the freebies and discounts. I will post the     link below if you would like to begin getting your own discounts

We then moved to the Atlanta area to be closer with our mothers who were both widows and aging. It was a hard transition and I did not order as much so dropped as a demonstrator for a brief time. When I was ready I reached out to a demonstrator who I loved and asked to join her team. She is a nationally known demonstrator with a large team and a 20+ year business and I knew IF I ever decided to actually SELL Stampin' Up! she would be a good mentor.

Within a few years my mother developed Alzheimer's and moved in with us. In our new home I did begin hosting classes and mom loved it when "The ladies" would come to craft. Unfortunately it was a short time until I was unable to do classes at home because my mom was unable to participate. So I stepped back again into a "Happy Shopper" business model and took the time to care for my mom. Unfortunately she passed away on August 11, 2020 and at this point I have indeed lost my sales and my titles with Stampin' Up! So this blog is my fresh new start and I would love all the help I can get to begin anew! Wouldn't you love to help me get started? Here is how you can connect with me. I would love to hear your Stampin' Story so message me anytime.
